ICE is killing INNOCENT people. They are killing people in their custody. They are killing people while hunting them down. And they are kill people who are innocent bystanders. ICE is truly an out of control Death Squad and must be stopped!
It is DEADLY to be in ICE Custody. It can be DEADLY just to be a bystander.
Deaths In ICE Custody
2025 was the deadliest year for those in ICE detention in 20 years. These deaths are the result of abuse, negligence, violence, and in some cases, downright, cold-blooded murder!
This TikTok reel identifies 30 of the individuals who died in ICE custody in 2025, and their cause of death: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1CKwkKYQ5K/, and since that reel was released, and at this time of this article, there have been 9 additional deaths of individuals in ICE custody.
The Brutality of ICE Can Not Be Overstated!
One of ICE’s most recent deaths, and I'd go so far as to chock this one up as murder, was the atrociously cruel and brutal death, Nurul Amin Shah Alam.
Shah-Alam was an asylum seeker who escaped the genocide in Myanmar with a small group of others, who were relocated to Buffalo NH. Having been in Buffalo only a matter of months, Shah-Alam, who is blind, has difficulty walking, and who speaks NO English, went out of a walk in his neighborhood. He inadvertently strayed onto someone's property, and those individuals reacted to that misstep as "threatening" and called Buffalo Police Buffalo PD.
The Buffalo police officers who responded to the call, and who, by all measures, should be well prepared for encounters with non-English speaking or non-verbal individuals, confronted Shah-Alam with yelled orders and commands that this man couldn't possibly understand.
Watch the police bodycam video of his arrest. The officers' approach is so hostile that it is almost certain that Shah-Alam, a blind non-English speaking refugee, who's just escaped a brutal existence, would think he is being attacked. And once officers escalate to aggression, Shah-Alam responds, likely trying to protect himself.
After a considerable struggle with the officers, Shah-Alam is restrained and arrested. Watch the video to the end where you’ll see that Shah-Alam presented no real threat to Buffalo PD (he actually tells them he loves them!), and that his aggression was based in fear of being attacked. Had Buffalo PD simply approached the situation in a less threatening manner, it is likely that Shah-Alam, a calm and peaceful man would be alive and with his family today.

When ICE realized Nurul was in the US legally, they dropped-off this blind and physically disabled man, at a closed coffee shop, in the dark of night, on a freezing cold Buffalo, NY night. Nurul’s body was found 5 days later. He’d frozen to death! (Read the article here: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/nearly-blind-refugee-found-dead-border-patrol-buffalo-new-york-rcna260787)
It is up to us to end this, so let’s do it! In this meeting we’ll present and strategize ways to demand and secure the release of innocents being held illegally in ICE detention camps.
WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!
It is time for us to mount a nationwide campaign to demand the release of every single person in ICE custody who does not have a serious arrest or conviction. ICE is holding innocent people which is blatantly against our Constitution, and it is time for us to demand their release.
